Product range
• A combi filter combines a drum filter with biological filtration in a single housing.
• A bio chamber is a biological filtration unit placed after a mechanical pre-filter.
• The choice depends on the pond volume and fish load.
• Spray nozzles and screen panels should be checked regularly and cleaned if necessary.
• It is possible to upgrade to a drum filter or combi filter without replacing the entire system.
• A bio chamber offers greater water volume and is easy to integrate into existing filtration lines.
• DVS recommends energy-efficient pumps that are suitable for continuous operation and require minimal maintenance.
• It is required for filters with an automatic rinsing function.
• This promotes clear water and reduces the biological load on the filtration system.
• Recommendation: replace the lamp once a year, preferably in spring.
